Stop naming your kids a certain name but then say "but we will call him something else"

Example: Naming your child Kaleb but calling him Kale. Why not just name your child Kale?

You name your child so thats what they are known as through their life. Just give them the name your going to use. Make it easy on them.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY strongly DISLIKE to cook. I feel bad for my kids and hubby that this is such an issue. Nothing I ever attempt to make ever turns out. I will spend hours making something then end up eating a bowl of cereal anyway. It SUCKS! I don't mind baking.. because with baking there are specific instructions. In cooking it's like -a dash of this and a pinch of that- huh? What's a dash? How much is a pinch. I had NO idea that there were two types of measuring cups, one for dry foods and one for liquids, till a month ago. I guess in Home Ec I should have been paying attention rather then reading "Go ask Alice"

I attempted to cook last night and pulled out the trusted cooking spray.. Expiration date?

Stellar saying by a super cool chick..

As I was flipping through the pages of my "ELLE" subscription today I saw a pretty cool article about awesome women who are rocking the universe. After they talked about the "new up and comings" they remembered some fab quotes by some even more fab ladies. My favorite was by Princess Diana... whom I LOVED (I went to England in 1997 before her death and stood outside of Buckingham palace yelling her name. DUH She and Charles were already divorced, what a fool the Brits thought I was.) Anyway she was quoted as saying:

"You definitely learn more about yourself while visiting a shantytown than while feeling futile in a cold palace."

How bad-ass is that? So true. All the trials and crap I have had to learn from and survive... well I think I know myself a bit better then the whores who married rich and have never gotten thier hands dirty. Darn proud...

I don't hate anyone... except the devil.

I will admit, I have used the word HATE plenty in the past. Yes, in the past. I am making a new test for myself. Hate is such a STRONG word. I don't think I really truly HATE anything, or anyone. I strongly dislike a lot of things. But I am done hating... well, done hating everyone except the devil.

Do you know what HATE means?

That dosen't sound too cool.. I mean to HATE someone. I will continue STRONGLY disliking. It sounds nicer.

Next they will be testing for virgins...
